Appa Rao files nomination for MLC polls

Hyderabad, March 9,
2013: Aadireddy Appa Rao, YSR Congress Party candidate for the March 21 MLC
polls filed his nomination papers on Saturday.

Accompanied by a
battery of senior party leaders and MLAs, Appa Rao went to the assembly
premises and submitted the nomination papers to the returning officer Sadaram.
In the presence of the party leaders and returning officer, Appa Rao swore he
would abide by the election code.

On behalf of Appa Rao, two
sets of nomination papers have been filed by the Party MLAs. While party whip
Balineni Srinivasa Reddy filed the first set of papers, the second set was
filed by MLA Mekathoti Sucharita. Several YSRCP MLAs seconded the nominations.
