AP State Bandh Going On Successfully

Reiterating the importance of special category status for the development of AP and protesting against the union and the state Governments for deceiving the people of AP in this matter, the leader of opposition and YSRCP president YS Jagan called for a state bandh. People and businesses voluntarily extended solidarity to the bandh. It is successfully going on throughout the state. Stores and businesses were kept shut down in villages and in cities. Buses stayed back in RTC depots. Certain YSRCP leaders were arrested by the police as they raised slogans in support of sanction of special category status. YSRCP is holding the bandh as a protest against the undemocratic ways of the Government.
