AP lacks financial discipline

Hyderabad: YSR Congress said that Chandrababu Naidu government has been so scared of its irregularities that it has failed to present the CAG report in full in the assembly and has been surviving on overdrafts and financial indiscipline has been rampant with no proper checks on expenditure.

Speaking to reporters here on Sunday party MLA Chairman of Public Accounts Committee Buggana Rajendernath Reddy has said,  the financial indiscipline of Chandrababu Naidu has been so glaring that it has borrowed more than what it is eligible for and it went up to Rs 2 lakh crore in 2015-16 and the revenue deficit has been consistently growing.

Corruption has been rampant and CAG, the autonomous body, has pointed out and brought to the fore various irregularities like the coal scam, 2G and others. Polavaram was supposed to be taken up by the Centre but the State grabbed it for kickbacks and irregularities have been pointed out.

Capital formation has also been on the shoddy side and there was extravaganza for building temporary structures which were all pointed out by the CAG which has to be taken seriously, he said.
He spoke ill about our leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy when he raised the Special Category Status (SCS) issue and fell flat when the issue had caught the imagination of the nation. Chandrababu Naidu claims to be very experienced but it seems he and his ideas are outdated and he has become obsolete.
