Ambedkar birth anniversary celebrated

Vijayawada: YSR Congress Party has grandly celebrated Dr.BR Ambedkar’s 126 birth anniversary throughout the state on Friday. They paid homage to Dr.Ambedkar at all the party offices and prime junctions. In Vijayawada, the party leaders took out a big rally from the party office to Gymkhana Ground and celebrations were conducted at Kandukuri Kalyan Mandap.

A large number of YSRCP activists from across the state participated in the celebrations and paid glowing tributes to the architect of the Indian Constitution.

Party senior leaders YV Subba Reddy, YSRCP official spokesperson Parthasarathy, General secretary Jogi Ramesh, SC cell state president Meruga Nagarjuna, Trade Union state president Gowtham Reddy, MLAs Mustafa and Suresh, MLC Ummareddy Venkateswarlu and party official spokes persons Ambati Rambabu, Vellampalli Srinivas and several other leaders took part in the celebrations.

Speaking on the occasion, the YSRCP leaders said that Chandrababu government murdered the democracy and encouraging unethical practices . They said that Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy was inspired by Ambedkar's vision and it was out of this deep-seated empathy for the marginalised and the under-privileged that late YSR had introduced welfare schemes like Arogya Sri, Fee Reimbursement and 108 services,
