TTD Board Passes Resolution Not To Sell Assets

TIRUPATI: The Tirumala Tirupati Devastanams (TTD) board on Thursday passed a resolution to not sell any lands and assets belonging to the trust in the future.
Speaking to media, TTD Trust Board Chairman YV Subba Reddy said, "We passed a resolution not to sell any lands of TTD and decided not to sell any lands, assets belonging to TTD in the future."
It also passed a resolution asking the state government to initiate a probe into the malicious campaign against TTD.
The members conducted the board meeting through video conferences on Thursday. Along with YV Subba Reddy, Executive officer Anil Kumar Singhal, Additional EO Dharma Reddy, Special Invitees karunakar Reddy, Chevireddy Bhasker Reddy and others have attended the meeting.
“We have also passed a resolution rejecting the previous TTD trust decision to sell the lands. No guesthouses have been allocated since we came to power. The allocation of the guesthouse is done in a completely transparent manner. Guidelines will be framed in this regard and also a resolution taken to build a children's hospital under TTD trust," he said.
All arrangements are put in place for resuming darshan following the norms such as maintaining physical distance and wearing face masks. We will take a call after the government's decision on resumption of darshans in temples, he said.
