It is a TDP Sponsored Protest

Amaravati, Dec. 24: YSRCP MLA Thopudurthi Prakash Reddy said that TDP sponsored protests were being held at the capital city region from the past seven days and the yellow media was unnecessarily highlighting the issue. He said that an acceptable decision would come up after the cabinet meeting.

Talking to media here on Tuesday, he said that TDP leaders were involved in insider trading in the capital city region and the capital city could not have been moved if Chandrababu had completed the capital city construction.

‘Not even an approach road was constructed and it takes a long time to reach secretariat from the highway road,’ he said. He mentioned that even secretariat employees were facing problems to reach secretariat as it was constructed 15 km away from the highway road. He said that real estate traders are leading the protest on the capital city issue by collecting funds.

He mentioned about the establishment of High Court in Rayalaseema according to the Sri Bhagh agreement. He also said that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has supported only after the assurance of the construction of a world-class capital city by Chandrababu. But Rs 1.70 lakh crore loan has been taken and only Rs 5,000 crore were spent by Chandrababu.

‘What would the state's financial situation be if the capital city was built by borrowing Rs 1 lakh crore with a debt of existing Rs 3 lakh crores?’ He questioned and said that there could have been no economical issues if the Visakhapatnam was announced as the capital city by the previous government.

He said that the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would take decisions keeping in view of people’s welfare and the three capital city concept was welcomed by many, irrespective of their political parties. He mentioned that K.E., TDP leader Ganta Srinivas, BJP’s GVL have welcomed G N Rao committee report.
