New Delhi: Reiterating that Chandrababu Naidu's government has been the most corrupt one in the State, YSR Congress Party leaders Vijaysai Reddy, V.Prabhakar Reddy, senior leaders Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy, Dr.V. Vara Prasada Rao, YV Subba Reddy and Ummareddy Venkateswarlu said that there has been a clear case of quid pro quo Chandrababu struck a deal with industrialists and corporate honchos. Releasing the book titled 'Emperor of Corruption' here on Tuesday, Party MPs and senior leaders said, "the emperor of corruption has clocked over Rs 6 six lakh crores during the past four years and counting.
Most of the amount was amassed by giving undue concessions to his favoured contractors and companies in return for material benefits, which is a clear case of quid pro quo, they said. Even the CAG Report has said that there are irregularities in the Polavaram construction works and the level of corruption in Amaravati land issue has been massive. The State government in the cabinet meetings had always concentrated on land allotments to Chandababu Naidu's coterie and favoured few contractors at throwaway prices and reaped rich dividends in other forms, they said.
The quantum of Polavaram scam is more than that of the Rafale scam and Chandababu Naidu’s corrupt governance has pushed the state in to a debt trap and every citizen has a debt of over Rs 50,000 per head as per the current estimates, they said.
