Ex-MLA Kurasala Kannababu joins YSRCP
Kakinada: Ex-MLA Kurasala Kannababu, Minister Gopalakrishna and his son, Sasidhar joined the YSR congress party on Wednesday in the presence of the Party president, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in a public meeting in Kakinada.
Addressing the meeting, and inviting the three new members, YS Jagan stated that there is utmost need to fight corruption and the fraudulent regime of Naidu. He stated that Naidu failed in fulfilling the promises made during elections. "If you go to farmers, they curse Chandrababu for his failure in waiver of loans; if you ask DWACRA women, they curse him for the same failure of waiving their loans; educated youths were let down badly by never making any recruitments in 20 months of taking over government; old people say their pensions were cancelled for showing their loyalty to the late leader Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy and YS Jagan," he said adding that the government did not build a single house for the poor in the past 20 months.
However, Chandrababu is claiming that he had great favour to people and improved their lives despite his failure in all fronts, YS Jagan said. Today we are fighting against a corrupt government and we all need to join hands or else the state will be damaged beyond repair, YS Jagan said and assured the newly joined leaders that they will be given their due in the party. Further, hundreds of supporters of the three leaders also joined the party.
