Hyderabad, May 24: 2014: Assuring full support to the employees in protecting their legal rights following the division, YSR Congress party president Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy asked leaders not to indulge in rhetoric that would create a rift among employees of Andhra Pradesh and Seemandhra.

In a statement issued here, he asked Telangana CM-designate K.Chandrasekhara Rao to stop making provoking statements against the employees.

“KCR defended his statements during the T agitation but now he is assuming the role of CM. While stressing that people of the two states should live in peace and harmony, he is also indulging in provocation. He should immediately stop issuing provoking statements,” Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy said in his statement.

He also suggested that CM-designate of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu should stand by the employees and take steps to protect their rights. “The Centre as well as the Governor should assure the employees that their constitutional rights should be well protected,” he said.

Issuing statements to mislead the constitutional process and creating rift among employees who should work in harmony in the joint capital is very serious, said Jagan Mohan Reddy.

“We have been warning of such issues from the very beginning but division was affected without paying attention for them. It is not proper to let the provoking statements of leaders go unattended as they would lead to feelings of hatred against regions,” Jagan Mohan Reddy said.

He asked the officials to affect the division in a manner resulting in peace and harmony among the employees of two states. “Or else, we will not keep quiet,” he warned.
