- Rythu Bharosa Yatra in Kurnool district from January 5
- Yatra to commence from Srisailam constituency
- Farmers deceived by Babu's promises
- Suicides due to mounted debts
- Government's failure to rescue farmers
- Leader of opposition YS Jagan to fill courage in their families
Kurnool: Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy was very fond of farmers. That's why he marched in the hot sun as part of his Pada Yatra, greeting farmers' families. Learning about their problems, he gave them assurance of his support. The leader of opposition in AP and YSRCP president, YS Jagan, following the great leader's footsteps, is staging Rythu Bharosa Yatras to offer support to the farmers.
In order to fill courage in the families orphaned due to debt-driven suicides, YS Jagan is holding Rythu Bharosa Yatra in Kurnool. Slamming the Government's negligence towards the hardship brought by drought and resulting indebtedness and suicides. He already toured in Ananthapuram district and offered his assurance to them. This phase of the Yatra is going to begin from Srisailam constituency.
TDP Government failed to rescue farmers of the state from drought. The ruling party failed to keep its promises to the farmers in the first place. It promised to waive agricultural loans. Mortgaged gold was promised to be released. All these fake promises helped him get on to the CM throne but he failed to remember to keep them.
Farmers were further pushed into a web of debts and drought added to the losses. Produce, whatever was left, had no fair price. But there is no response from the Government. The leader of opposition also submitted in the assembly, a list of farmers' suicides that had occurred. Chandrababu simply chose to ignore the deaths and the cries of the bereaved families.
Hence, Jananeta initiated Rythu Bharosa Yatra. He will console the suicide-effected families and learn the drought situation in those areas and ensure them of his support, just as he did in Ananthapuram district in five phases.
