Addressing a well-attended BC conclave at Kaanagudur in Mydukuru mandal on Monday as part of the Praja Sankalpa Yatra, YS Jagan said that the YSRCP was committed bring back smiles on the faces of the backward communities. He said his government, which would be formed one year from now, would ensure that the BCs get their due.
Highlights from YS Jagan's speech at BC meet in Kaanaguduru:
*Every eligible SC, ST, BC and Minority person will receive pension at 45 years of age.*
*We will announce a BC committee in another 3-4 days which will tour every constituency to register suggestions. The committee will function simultaneously as I undertake the paadayatra. Once I am done with this 6 month long Yatra, YCP will hold an BC Garjana and draft a BC declaration.*
*Village Secretariats will ensure that any request or application with regard to all schemes of YSRCP will be processed within 72 hours.*
I request you all to give me recommendations and suggestions. Your inputs will help me to govern better and ensure BC communities across the state are content.
I ask all Yadavs to remember YSR's rule. His government provided insurance for dead cattle and livestock.
TDP talks of love for BCs but this is nothing but false love. TDP hands out paltry hand outs.
YSR strived for education for all, he therefore brought in fee reimbursement scheme. TDP today gives only 30% of fee amount which is not adequate in any way.
YCP will waive off entire fee amount for engineering and medical students, additionally 20,000 rupees will be given to every student for mess and hostel expenses annually.
Amma Odi scheme will ensure that a mother who sends her children to school will be granted 15,000 rupees annually.
